Vodafone published a report

by Rakib (06/06/2007 - 20:38)

The world's largest mobile phone network, Vodafone, published a report this morning claiming that our right to access the internet is on a par with freedom of speech and equal opportunities. "Internet access is now such an important part of life that we regard it as a modern civil liberty," said a Vodafone spokesperson. According to the survey, one in three people think that the internet is so important to their jobs and social lives that they would be willing to forgo other human rights for the right to access the worldwide web.
