Nokia E51 new business handset – simple and productive

Nokia has gone public with a stylish E-series smartphone - the E51.
According to the company, its slim (12mm!) Nokia E51 is the ideal fit for the users who need an easily controlled handset featuring at the same time enhanced business functionality of the E-series.
The short technical specs of Nokia E51:

Nokia N94i running Windows Mobile a Chinese fake?
The Engadget.com has recently posted pictures of an upcoming Nokia N94i, which is peculiar for running the Microsoft Windows Mobile OS, not Symbian. On the photos we see “winxp.jpg” indicator.
Now it became obvious that the pics dealt with a Chinese knockoff, which in fact was made by Chinese themselves. The source corrected the news. Nokia has barely planned a smartphone with such index (“4” is rarely used by the company because of “Eastern superstitions”). As a matter of fact the penetration of Microsoft info the Nokia world has seen just few examples: Windows Live services integrated in Intellisync and a couple of car navigators.Sony Ericsson files for touch sensitive keypad patent

Sony Ericsson is the last one from the “great five” to pay attention to touch interface in mobile phones. The company filed for a patent, which deals with a touchscreen displaying virtual buttons in compact devices.
There are no patent details, which make it original, especially taking into account existing models with the implemented idea. Probably Sony Ericsson will be able to derive benefit from similar products by other companies.

Now Vertu Ascent Ti, a 3G phone, comes to stores. It features UMTS 2100 MHz, a 3-megapixel camera, a QVGA-screen and Series 40 platform. I’d mention 4 GB of onboard memory. Unfortunately there is no info on the price.

The Chinese source PCPOP posted live pics of an upcoming MOTOROKR U9 clamshell. It has been rumored much and now we’ve got a chance to see it.
According to the site the phone has the following specs:
• Cell networks: GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) • External OLED-display, 128x160 pixels• Main display –1.8”, QVGA, 262K colors
• 2-megapixel camera
• 25 MB of onboard memory
• Slot for microSD cards (up to 4 GB)

• Dimensions: 90x48.6x16.4 mm
• Weight: 87.5 g

Nokia N95 8GB will be available soon.
The N95 8GB comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA LCD, so that browsing the net, viewing maps and watching videos is easy and really convenient. With all the nice features, including an an innovative 2-way slide, 5 mega-pixels camera module with Carl Zeiss optics, HSDPA, built-in A-GPS and WLAN connections, it will cost 560 EUR (excluding taxes and subsidies). The Nokia N95 8GB will be available in the fourth quarter this year.

In addition, HSDPA offers a sustained download speed of about 3.6Mbps. The LG-KS20 smart phone is expected to hit European market in the fourth quarter 2007.

The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic also features a 2 mega-pixels camera module and is capable to display up to 16 million colors on its 2-inch QVGA screen.
